five story temple The dominant structure at Edzna is 31 meters high. Four terraces support a vaulted building crowned by a roof comb. The west face, seen here, presents four tiers of "range-type" vaulted buildings. The other faces of the pyramid have terraces of unusual profiles still largely unexcavated. The summit building faces both east and west.
