Michael Closs: Mathematician
| For many years taught mathematics at Ottawa University, now retired. He developed an interest in ancient mathematics, and particularly mesoamerican systems. He Is credited with numerous decipherments and discoveries in Maya mathematics and epigraphy. | One article to read is "Venus in the Maya World" in Tercera Mesa Redonda de Palenque, Vol 4: 147-172, Palenque, The Pre-Columbian Research Center.
